Inox Wind Limited (IWL) signs a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Inox Clean Energy for the supply of 1,500 MW of wind turbines. Under the agreement, IWL will supply its 3.3 MW and 4X MW turbine models to renewable energy projects that Inox Clean Energy develops across India, according to both reports. Inox Wind says the MoU supports its broader “One Integrated” approach within the INOXGFL group, which aims to cover manufacturing, project execution, power generation, and operations and maintenance. The collaboration is presented as a way to improve execution and revenue stability. Inox Wind also states that its existing order book is about 3.1 GW; with the MoU’s 1,500 MW, the order book crosses 4.5 GW, providing visibility for the coming years. Inox Clean Energy is described as expanding its renewable portfolio and planning further annual additions, with wind expected to contribute a portion of future capacity growth. Overall, the MoU signals increased turbine supply aligned with Inox Clean’s planned renewables pipeline.
