Redmi has confirmed that the Redmi K90 Ultra will debut in China later this month, and the company has opened pre-orders ahead of the official release. The announcement follows Redmi’s Weibo post stating the launch timeline and indicating that the handset is part of the Redmi K90 lineup. Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing also outlines the phone’s positioning, saying the K90 Ultra will sit below the K90 Max. He puts the expected price at around CNY 3,000.
In parallel, NDTV reports that pre-orders are available through Xiaomi China’s online store, with promotional materials showing key physical design elements. These include a power button and volume controls on the right side and a flat rear panel with the camera module at the top. NDTV also notes that the K90 Ultra is expected to succeed the Redmi K80 Ultra, which launched in June of the previous year. The earlier model used a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset and included a 7,410mAh battery.
