HYBE announces the launch of ABD (“A Bold Dream”), a new label dedicated to developing and producing girl groups. The company says ABD is part of its broader multilabel strategy, aiming to give creative independence while drawing on HYBE’s existing infrastructure. In a statement, HYBE describes the label’s creative direction as pursuing unconventional, flexible, and playful ideas, with an emphasis on artist-focused production.

Multiple outlets report that ABD’s first rookie act is planned for release in the second half of 2026. The label will be led by No Ji-won, head of artist planning at HYBE subsidiary Pledis Entertainment. Production leadership is set to be handled by veteran producer Han Sung-soo, known for work with acts including Seventeen, After School, IZ*ONE and TWS.

The new initiative adds to HYBE’s expanding roster of girl-group labels and groups, including Le Sserafim (Source Music), NewJeans (ADOR), ILLIT (Belift Lab), and Katseye (HYBE Labels).
