A judge sets aside a default ruling entered against Jon Prosser in Apple’s lawsuit over alleged leaking of Apple software and related information. According to reports, the case began with Apple filing a lawsuit in July 2025 that accused Prosser of involvement in the alleged disclosure of details tied to a transparent UI design referred to in connection with “iOS 26.” Apple also alleges that Prosser conspired with Michael Ramacciotti to steal secret contents from a test device owned by Ethan Lipnik.
Prosser initially did not respond to Apple’s complaint, which led to a default judgment. That default is now removed after the matter returns to active litigation procedures. Apple and Prosser’s lawyers jointly requested the change, and the judge agreed to set aside the default on June 10, according to the coverage.
With the default set aside, Prosser is able to participate again in the case, including discovery, which is part of the pretrial process where parties exchange information and evidence. The reports also note that Prosser continues to post related videos even as the legal dispute continues.
