New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM) is making its tokenization debut by partnering with Centrifuge to launch a tokenized version of its U.S. high-yield corporate bond strategy. The initiative brings an institutional high-yield approach onto blockchain, extending tokenization efforts that have largely focused on tokenized Treasury products.

According to the sources, the tokenized fund is designed to give eligible investors access to NYLIM’s established high-yield corporate bond strategy through a Centrifuge-enabled structure. Centrifuge describes the offering as one of the first high-yield bond options available onchain.

The portfolio is identified as the NYLIM Anemoy U.S. High Yield Corporate Bond Segregated Portfolio, with ticker HYB. The collaboration is positioned as an early example of Wall Street expanding beyond tokenized Treasuries into other fixed-income asset classes. The articles also note that NYLIM manages approximately $807 billion in assets under management, underscoring the scale of the participating asset manager.
