Oil marketing companies reduce the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by about ₹183.50, effective July 1, 2026, according to multiple reports. The cut follows earlier hikes in June that were attributed to global supply pressures and higher international crude prices. Reports say the revision provides relief to businesses using commercial cylinders, including hotels, restaurants and other establishments, while domestic household LPG prices remain unchanged for the month.
City-wise pricing cited by outlets shows the 19-kg commercial cylinder price falling in several locations. In Delhi, the price drops to ₹2,930 from ₹3,113.50 in June. In Kolkata, it falls to ₹3,081.50 from ₹3,255.50. Other figures mentioned include Chandigarh at ₹2,954.50 and Patna at ₹3,227. The Economic Times also cites Mumbai-specific numbers, and Free Press Journal provides additional city-wise comparisons.
The price adjustment is linked to softer global crude oil conditions and easing Middle East tensions, which reduce concerns about potential disruptions to oil and gas supply and shipping routes.
