Seoul says Lee’s trip is aimed at strengthening defense industry cooperation between South Korea and NATO member countries. In Ankara, Lee is scheduled to meet NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. He will also participate in a group summit involving leaders from Indo-Pacific countries, including Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
