IIM Kozhikode has inducted its 2026–28 MBA cohort, reporting a record 66% women in its Post Graduate Programme (PGP). The institute says this is the highest proportion of women among IIMs for the programme. Times of India reports that IIM Kozhikode admits 599 students into its three full-time MBA programmes and 99 doctoral scholars for the 2026–28 academic session. Of the 499 students admitted to the PGP, women account for 66%. The institute also reports that 57% of the PGP batch consists of non-engineering students. In addition, IIM Kozhikode introduces the inaugural batch of its Doctoral Programme in Management (Teaching Track). Across sources, the focus remains on the institute’s reported record level of female representation in the MBA intake and related details of the overall admissions and composition of the cohort for the 2026–28 academic session.
