Rashmika Mandanna has completed the filming of a major underwater fight sequence for her upcoming action thriller, Mysaa. Director Rawindra Pulle and the production team at Unformula Films confirm that a crucial underwater sequence is now wrapped, and that filming is progressing. Multiple reports describe the scene as a milestone for Indian action cinema, presented as India’s first female-led underwater fight sequence. The shoot includes extensive choreography and reportedly takes several days in the water, with accounts noting around three days of filming and total time underwater of roughly two days and nearly 20 hours. Mandanna also previously shot an 80-foot waterfall jump for the film. Sources say she performs a long underwater stunt sequence, including a 3.5-minute stretch, and that maintaining water quality posed logistical challenges. Earlier, the team also completed filming a song sequence choreographed by Brinda. Mysaa is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2026.
