Vishal Agarwal, the father of Pune resident Ketan Agarwal, writes to President Droupadi Murmu seeking a swift investigation and a fast-track court hearing in his son’s murder case. Agarwal says his family suffers severe grief after losing both his son and his father within about 20 days. In his email to the President’s Secretariat, he requests that the case be heard without prolonged delays, arguing that delays worsen the pain of families already affected by the death. He also states that the family is not asking for special treatment, only a fair and timely trial.
According to Agarwal, Ketan was allegedly murdered by his fiancée and her friend, and the investigation is ongoing. He adds that Ketan’s grandfather died about 20 days after the murder, which he attributes to the trauma of his grandson’s death. Agarwal urges authorities to ensure the matter does not become a backlog case and emphasizes that the dispute involves a family that has “lost everything.”
