A man identified as Ejike Ofoegbu, described as the publisher of Igbo Time Magazine, apologises after admitting he created and circulated false content about Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his son, Ozonna. According to reports, Ofoegbu acknowledges responsibility for videos posted on Facebook and other social media platforms in which he falsely claimed to be Ozonna Soludo. He also states that similar claims were published as part of a series of disparaging stories circulated online.

Daily Post Nigeria reports that Ofoegbu, who is said to publish Igbo Times Magazine and INews, issued an apology for publishing four articles that attacked Soludo’s family. The admission follows a development connected to a video in which Ozonna was discussed, after which Ofoegbu released a new video acknowledging that the earlier claims were fabricated.

Both outlets present the same core account: Ofoegbu retracts and apologises for the false claims, describing them as content he fabricated and shared through social media. The reports do not provide additional details on any legal action or official investigation beyond the admissions and apology.
