The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released scanned images of OMR answer sheets and the recorded responses for candidates who took the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination on June 21, 2026. Candidates can access their scanned OMR sheets and recorded responses by logging in to the official NEET portal. The facility also provides a way for candidates to compare what the scanning system recorded with the answers they marked on their original OMR sheets. NTA has sent the scanned OMR copy to candidates’ registered email addresses as well.
In a notice issued on July 13, NTA states that the answer key challenge window has already closed and that no further objections to the answer key will be accepted. The current online window applies only to discrepancies in the recorded responses or errors related to data captured from the OMR sheet. Candidates can submit challenges up to 11:00 am on July 15, 2026, by paying a processing fee of ₹200 per challenge, which is stated to be refundable if the claim is verified.
NTA advises candidates to review the scanned images carefully before challenging, noting that only fully darkened single-circle markings made with a blue or black ballpoint pen are treated as valid, and multiple markings can lead to invalid responses and negative marking.
