Apple’s annual Back to School promotion is live in several Asian countries, including China, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The program offers college students and educational staff a free item when they purchase an eligible Mac or iPad through Apple’s education store. The specific free item and the eligible products vary by country. In China and Singapore, the promotion provides a pack of four AirTags with the purchase of selected new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iPad Air, or iPad Pro models. In India, the available free options include a pack of four AirTags or AirPods 4 with an eligible Mac purchase, and an Apple Pencil Pro with an eligible iPad purchase. Some countries also offer an option to receive a discount on certain higher-value accessories. MacRumors reports that the MacBook Neo is not included as an eligible product in any of the listed countries. The promotion runs through August 27 in these markets. Apple has not yet launched the offer in the U.S., Canada, or Europe, which it is expected to roll out later, likely based on time zones.
