Apple is expected to open pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro models on Saturday, September 12, according to reports citing a prominent leak source. AppleInsider and MacRumors both point to an X post from the account “ShrimpApplePro” saying pre-orders will begin at the usual time on Saturday.

MacRumors further specifies that the timing is 12 a.m. Pacific Time, while noting that Apple’s typical pattern is to start pre-orders the Friday after an event. This year, that would fall on September 11, but the reports say Apple has historically avoided that date. MacRumors also cites German outlet Macwelt’s earlier claim of a Sept. 12 pre-order date for both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Regarding other models, the same outlet says a foldable “iPhone Duo” is unlikely to be available until October at the earliest, with any pre-orders possibly coming later.
