Apple confirms the official battery capacities for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max following earlier announcements of the devices. As reported across outlets, Apple publishes these figures on its iPhone product pages in the EU to comply with energy-labelling requirements.

The energy labels list the iPhone 18 Pro with a 4,056 mAh battery and the iPhone 18 Pro Max with a 5,391 mAh battery. Compared with the previous generation, the iPhone 18 Pro’s battery capacity increases modestly versus the iPhone 17 Pro, while the Pro Max sees a much larger step up compared with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. MacRumors notes a larger relative change for the Pro Max than for the standard Pro model.

Both sources also connect the capacity disclosures to differences between SIM configurations. Devices sold with a physical SIM card tray show the published capacities in the labels. Apple has availability details for eSIM-only models in certain countries, and reports indicate eSIM-only versions use a slightly larger battery to fill space previously used by the SIM tray, though not all eSIM-only capacities are confirmed in the coverage.
