Samsung’s first Android XR smart glasses, shown at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event in July, are now reported to be approaching launch. According to a report citing a Samsung official in South Korea, the glasses are expected to launch in November.
Multiple outlets describe the glasses as “intelligent eyewear” with no built-in display. Instead, they include a camera, microphones, and speakers. Information on pricing and availability details has not been confirmed publicly in the reports.
One outlet also points to regulatory activity as a sign the product may be close, referencing an FCC appearance as a clue to timing. While the sources largely converge on the general timeframe, they differ in emphasis: some focus on the reported November date, while others highlight the pathway toward release suggested by regulatory filings. Both approaches indicate Samsung is moving from showcase to production and market rollout, with remaining details still pending.
