British Airways is unveiling new cabin designs for retrofitted Airbus A380 aircraft, including what it describes as the world’s largest business-class cabin. The changes add 106 business-class suites spread across the plane’s upper deck, as shown in released interior designs.

In addition to expanding premium capacity, the airline also reshapes the overall cabin layout. One outlet reports that British Airways reduces the number of economy seats on the A380 by nearly a third as part of the retrofit. The coverage focuses on the scale of the redesigned business cabin and what it replaces in the rest of the aircraft, rather than changes to routes or timing. Both accounts describe the update as a shift in capacity allocation toward business class on the A380.
