LS Electric says it has signed a 185.3 billion-won (about $138.7 million) contract with Bloom Energy to supply switchgear and distribution transformers for a fuel-cell-based, on-site power generation project in the United States. The deal is connected to a data center operated by a major U.S. technology company in Pennsylvania.
LS Electric says delivery of 38-kilovolt (kV) high-voltage switchgear and distribution transformers is scheduled between April and July 2027. Both outlets describe the contract as part of a broader supply relationship with Bloom Energy, noting that LS Electric’s cumulative orders from Bloom Energy have surpassed $500 million since April of last year. The coverage focuses on the project’s location, the equipment specifications, and the timeline for deliveries, without presenting competing interpretations of the agreement.
