Domino’s Pizza reports third-quarter results showing slowing demand, with U.S. same-store sales rising just 0.3%. The company also forecasts a muted outlook for full-year comparable sales, citing competition and consumers that remain cautious. BNN Bloomberg says Domino’s adjusts its expectations for both U.S. and international comparable sales growth.

Quartz reports U.S. comparable sales growth of 0.3% in the quarter, down sharply from 5.2% a year earlier. It also notes that profit and revenue come in above expectations despite the weaker traffic. PR Newswire adds that international same-store sales growth is 0.2% (excluding foreign currency impacts) and that the company grows its store base, reporting global net store growth of 175 locations, including 26 net openings in the U.S. and 149 net openings internationally.
