Apple is testing changes to its Music and Health apps in iOS 27.2 beta 4. Multiple outlets report that the Apple Music app icon in the latest developer beta shifts from the long-running red-and-white design to a black-and-white version, with the note appearance described as slightly altered.

AppleInsider also says the same beta removes references to a planned Apple Health redesign that had appeared in earlier versions. Alongside these visual updates, AppleInsider notes the beta includes other design-related changes, including references to a potential HomePod-related setting. The reporting differs in emphasis—some focus on the Apple Music icon update, while AppleInsider highlights the apparent pullback of the Apple Health redesign—though all agree the Music icon update is present in beta 4.
